https://www.helpinhimalayas.info/We are a registered non-profit working in the higher Himalayan region of northern India. Our vision is to bring promote education and bring financial sustainability to the local communities. Currently we organize a Teach English Volunteer program in the local govt./non-govt. schools to help the mountain children have access to English comprehension skills. We intend to support rural tourism projects in coming times which will bring a means of income for the local communities. These projects will comprise of starting camping sites and organizing discounted hikes and treks with the help of the local youth.
